The Paper Exhibition in Saatchi Gallery in Sloane Square was how I spent my first Friday back in London town. Arriving on holiday in the working week, combined with a reasonably grey sky, meant that I was able to catch up on some gallery time and see what was on.
A combination of drawings, collage and sculpture; the subjects of each of these artists ranged from still life and observation to political portraiture however grouped together, they created an impressive environments as they were also composed using the medium of paper.
The gallery overlooks some park space and with its impressive neo-classical columns, it makes for a lovely day out.
The exhibition is a simple collection of galleries. I particularly liked the bird mobile which was put together using pieces of newspaper.
